Menu: Top Parts> File > Save Part…

  • What
  • Saves the current part and subparts in a file as graphic and registry.
  • Why
  • If while drawing a part can be reused in other drawings, this command saves the part in a file ready to be loaded as subpart in other drawings.
  • How
  • Firstly is requested the part’s reference point, then a dialogue is displayed to save the AutoCAD file where to insert the file’s name.
