How to use it

To move a file from DWG to MI you have to load the dwg file in AutoCAD environment.

When loading is finished, to start translator to MI you can type at the command prompt:

or press the came button in the toolbar

or choose the items in menu.

CAMECAME waits for the file name (with .mi extension) that contains drawing in ME10 format. Application also creates a file with same name of but with .log extension that contains AutoCAD entities that for some reasons have not been converted in ME10.

When command is running CAME ask you the drawing scale of your dwg drawing to match the correct value in ME10. Usually the default value shown at command prompt is correct. At this point press enter key to start translation.

If scale value is not correct please enter the right value according to this syntax.

After the scale insertion translation begins.

TIP

In order to optimize translation, CAME changes your dwg drawing. By default at the end of translation an “UNDO” command is performed to reset dwg to original state. This feature can be disabled to improve translation speed.

If the undo is disabled, be careful to the “SAVE” command at the end of the translation task
