Features of the price list/offer
The Layout module uses price lists prepared with Microsoft Excel in XLT format (Microsoft Excel templates). These price lists are placed in the templates folder of the layout and application must comply with certain rules.
Each Excel document has two sheets:
- Presentation sheet
- Data sheet
Presentation sheet is the price list in "fair copy"; it's the sheet intended to present the data based on the operator requests. The application never changes the presentation sheet.
The data sheet shall be called "BACKSTAGE" and is connected to the presentation sheet. The application analyzes and compiles the data sheet.
The data sheet can use two models: a model with columns and a matrix model. Depending on the requirements, you can select the one or the other.
